Our friends at the cocktail bar 20hundra5, Stockholm, took over our bar at the distillery January 17th 2020. This is one of the cocktails they created for the evening.
AKVATINI
5 cl S|B Akvavit
1,5 cl dry vermouth
1 cl triple sec liqueur
1 bar spoon orgeat*
2 dashes orange bitter
Pour akvavit, dry vermouth, triple sec liqueur, orgeat, and orange bitters into a mixing glass. Add ice and stir. Strain into glass and serve with an orange twist.
*Orgeat
Roast 200 grams of almond in a pan. Blend almonds with 100ml of water in a blender. Pour into a pan and let simmer for about 15 minutes on low heat. Cool and let sit overnight. Strain then mix with 100 grams of sugar until fully dissolved. Yields about 130-150ml.
